Hi there! We are Karen and Randy Bunnell (and our dog Sydney, the mini aussie) from the foothills of Northern California. We are enthusiastic teardrop travelers!
Our first teardrop camping experience was in August of 2012. For our 35th wedding anniversary we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to check out teardrop camping. Our decision was to rent a teardrop trailer for 10 days and check out a new campsite along the northern California coast each day of our trip.

The Petite Sirah
After only a couple of days, we were hooked. The day after we returned home we were in the design phase of creating a teardrop trailer of our own. Three months later we were on our first trip with our very own, custom built teardrop trailer which we call The Petite Sirah (Yes we enjoy wine tasting during our travels.)
This site will be about our teardrop travels. We will show the places we visit, events that occur, some of the people meet, and the adventures we have along the way. We may also add some teardrop construction tips and ideas, camp cooking recipes, and reviews of the wineries we visit. Check back often for new content.
